The Conservation Park Longleaf/Wiregrass Seedling Planting Services include the planting of longleaf pine and wiregrass seedlings as a component to the City’s long range plan to restore a native longleaf pine forest. The 2017 planting of 96,000 longleaf pine and 110,000 wiregrass seedlings will occur in multiple areas within the City’s Conservation Park. Seedlings have been purchased by the City of Panama City Beach and the requested services are for seedling pickup in the Panama City area on specified dates in January 2017 and immediate seedling planting services thereafter. Areas to be planted have been previously harvested and burned.
Bids will be received until 2:00 PM Central Time, November 3, 2016 at City of Panama City Beach City Hall, 110 S. Arnold Road (SR 79), Panama City Beach, Florida 32413 and will be opened and read publicly immediately thereafter. All Bids shall be submitted in an envelope clearly marked “Sealed Bid – Longleaf/Wiregrass Seedling Planting Services - PANAMA CITY BEACH, FLORIDA.” The City of Panama City Beach (“City”) reserves the right to reject any and all Bids. All Bids shall be firm (including all labor and material prices) for a period of 90 days after opening.
