In order to efficiently respond to requests and manage the employment of off-duty police officers, The Panama City Beach, FL Police Department has partnered with Off Duty Management to provide services related to hiring off-duty officers effective September 23rd, 2024.
You may request to hire off-duty police officers through the Off Duty Management web-based service, OfficerTRAK®, or calling the number below.
Off Duty Management provides the following to the customer:
· Online access to information through the OfficerTRAK® software including:
o Job-status
o Officer attendance
o Post orders and instructions
o Past and future shift information
· Full liability coverage for the customer, the agency, and the officer
· 24/7 customer service through their phone number
· Dedicated point of contact for scheduling, invoicing, and payroll.

4 Hour Minimum per Request
Panama City Beach PD will allow outside Vendors, at their sole discretion, to increase the offered hourly rate of pay from starting at $50.00 with incremental increases by $5.00/hr. plus Admin Fee.
SUPERVISOR RATE: When enforcement-related extra-duty employment requires the use of numerous law enforcement officers, the following criteria shall apply:
1. When three (3) to seven (7) law enforcement officers are required on a job site, one (1) supervisor shall be assigned.
2. When eight (8) or more law enforcement officers are required on a job site, two supervisors shall be assigned.
Notifications will be sent to the Department’s ODM coordinator or their designee five days in advance if the extra-duty employment minimums for personnel or supervision cannot be met. If these minimums are not met, the ODM Manager or their designee will decide whether a non-supervisor substitute can be used or if the position needs to be reassigned to on-duty status because it is mandatory.
HOLIDAY RATE*: The holiday rate will apply to the following days: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, MLK Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day.
EMERGENCY_RATE**: If a request is received less than 48 hours prior to assignment the emergency pay rate goes into effect.
Vehicle Rate: All Requests / All Shifts Require a Vehicle.
Cancellation policy: Customer cancelling or reducing an assignment within 24 hours of the start of the assignment shall pay the greater of officer hours worked or the agency minimum hours plus ODM administrative fees for the first 24 hours of the original assignment.
