The Russell-Fields City Pier is one of the area's most popular attractions. At over 1,500 ft., the City pier is one of the longest piers on the Gulf and offers fantastic fishing opportunities and breathtaking views of open skies, white sandy beaches, sunrises and sunsets. Gaze over the side of the pier and you will often see amazing marine life including fish, sea turtles, stingrays, dolphins, manatees, and pelicans. Whether you are looking for a great place to fish, spectate, or to take a stroll, don't miss a visit to the Russell-Fields City Pier!

City Pier passes are also honored at the M.B. Miller County pier. Passes for Military, Senior and Disabled are half price with documentation/ID.

Fishing

A wide variety of fish can be caught in season: Cobia, King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Red Fish, Blues, Blue Liners, Pompano, Flounder, Hardtails, Bonita, Mullet, Grouper, Sheepshead, and many others.

              Bait Shop                 

On the east side of the City Pier, Hook’d Bait & Tackle (inside Hook’d Bar & Grill) rents rods and sells bait and tackle. Their hours vary throughout the year. They can be reached at (850) 233-8232.

Accessibility:

Russell-Fields City Pier is handicapped accessible. Three beach-accessible wheelchairs are also available for public use free of charge. Users need to fill out a form and submit a valid ID to the pier attendant at the pier ticket office. Beach Access #56 on the west side of the ticket office has a handicapped-accessible ramp that allows the chairs to get to the beach.
