Bid Opening-Fleet Vehicle Monitoring System

PANAMA CITY BEACH – FLEET VEHICLE MONITORING SYSTEM 

Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. Central Time, Thursday, March 16, 2017 at City of Panama City Beach City Hall, 110 South Arnold Road, Panama City Beach, Florida, 32413 and will be opened and read publicly immediately thereafter. All Bids shall be submitted in an envelope clearly marked “Sealed Bid – Panama City Beach – Fleet Vehicle Monitoring System”. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the Bid shall accompany the Bid.  The City of Panama City Beach (“City”) reserves the right to reject any and all Bids. 

The City of Panama City Beach hereby solicits sealed bids for providing and installation of a hardware and software based monitoring system for its fleet vehicles.  Copies of the bid documents may be obtained from the Utilities Administration Department Office at the address below.  Point of contact for obtaining specifications is Sheryl Woodcock, email swoodcock@pcbgov.com. No specifications will be issued to suppliers later than ninety-six (96) hours prior to the time indicated above for receiving bids.

 Bids must be submitted upon the standard form contained in the Specifications. 

Bid documents will be available on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 and can be obtained or examined at the City of Panama City Beach Utilities Administration Department at 116 South Arnold Road, Panama City Beach, Florida 32413. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, with respect to Public Entity Crimes.There will be no cost for bid documents (digital copy only on CD).  Partial sets will NOT be issued.

 

There will not be a pre-bid conference for this project.  Point of Contact for questions will be Al Shortt, P.E., City of Panama City Beach Utilities Administration Department; 116 South Arnold Road, Panama City Beach, Florida, 32413 Email ashortt@pcbgov.com.  All questions shall be submitted in writing via email.  Each bidder must comply with all applicable state and local laws concerning licensing, registration, and regulations of contractors doing business in Florida.
