STREET RESURFACING PROJECT- FY 2015

This project includes the resurfacing of Miracle Strip Loop, Lantana Street and Escanaba Street. In addition it includes paving new section of roadway on Castile Circle and reclaiming and resurfacing a portion of Mandy Lane in Frank Brown Park.    The contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, and labor to complete the project.

Plans and specs will be available June 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. and can be obtained at the Public Works office at 110 South Arnold Road, Panama City Beach, FL  32413 or by email by contacting Sheryl Woodcock at swoodcock@pcbgov.com  The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, with respect to Public Entity Crimes.

Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. Central Time, June 18, 2015, at the City of Panama City Beach City Hall, 110 South Arnold Road, Panama City Beach, FL  32413, and will be opened and read publicly thereafter.  All Bids shall be submitted in an envelope clearly marked "Sealed Bid-Panama City Beach- STREET RESURFACING PROJECT FY 2015". A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount of Bid shall accompany the Bid.  The City of Panama City Beach ("City") reserves the right to reject any and all Bids.  All Bids shall be firm (including all labor and material prices) for a period of 30 days after opening. 

The City shall award the Contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; provided, however, the City reserves the right to award the Contract to a Bidder who is not the lowest responsive and responsible bidder if the City determines in its reasonable discretion that another Bid offers the City a better value based upon the reliability, quality of service, or product of such other Bidder.
