NOTICE TO BID-REROOF STATION #32, 10015 MIDDLE BEACH ROAD
The City of Panama City Beach, Florida (the “City”) hereby requests sealed bids for the replacement of roof at Station #32, 10015 Middle Beach Road.
Proposals will be received by the Panama City Beach Fire Department, Fire Station #31,17121 Panama City Beach Parkway, Panama City Beach, Florida 32413, until 11:00 AM (CST) on August 10, 2016. Submittals will be publicly opened and receipt acknowledged immediately thereafter. Late submitted proposals will not be considered and no time extensions will be permitted. Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, plainly marked on the outside RFP—Station #32 (10015 Middle Beach Rd.) Roof, with respondent’s name, address, date and time of the published bid opening. It is the sole responsibility of the prospective vendors to ensure their submittal package is received by the City on or before the closing date and time. Offers submitted after the closing date and time, and any offers submitted by telephone, email or facsimile shall be rejected.
Any proposal may be withdrawn prior to bid opening. No prospective vendor may withdraw a proposal within 90 days after the actual date of opening. Should there be reasons why the vendor cannot be selected within the specified period and a contract cannot be awarded within that period, the time may be extended by mutual agreement of the City and the prospective vendor. The City is under no obligation, either express or implied, to reimburse responding vendors for any expense associated with preparation and submittal of their package in response to this request.

The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals in whole or in part, to waive informalities in the RFP documents, to obtain additional RFPs, and to postpone the submittal deadline and opening of proposals. The City shall award the contract to the lowest fully responsive and responsible bidder; provided, that the City may award the contract to a bidder other than the lowest bidder should it find that the lowest bidder does not offer the reliability, quality of service or product afforded by such other bidder. Each proposal shall be valid to the City for a period of 90 days after opening.
