NOTICE TO BID: COLONY CLUB- NAUTILUS CONNECTION

The Colony Club – Nautilus Connection Project includes new roadway, utility, and stormwater management construction on a portion of City owned right-of-way that extends northeast from the existing terminus of Nautilus Road, a distance of 700 feet, and continues southeast a distance of 850 feet to Fairway Boulevard.  Please refer to the bidding and contract documents for additional information regarding the submittal and project construction requirements.

Plans and specifications can be obtained at Dewberry | Preble-Rish, Inc., 203 Aberdeen Parkway, Panama City, Florida  32405, 850.522.0644 or 877 County Road 393 North, Santa Rosa Beach, FL  32459, 850.267.0759.  Cost for Plans and Specifications will be $200.00 per set and is non-refundable.  Checks should be made payable to Dewberry | Preble-Rish.

Bids will be received until 3:00 p.m. (CST) on November 1, 2016 at the City of Panama City Beach, 110 South Arnold Road, Panama City Beach, Florida 32413 and will be opened and publicly read immediately thereafter.  All Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked: Sealed Bid: “City of Panama City Beach – Colony Club – Nautilus Connection”

A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the Bid shall accompany the Bid.  The City of Panama City Beach (City) reserves the right to reject any and all bids.  The City also reserves the right to reject contractors who in the City’s opinion are not qualified to perform the work based on the pre-qualification package.  All Bids shall be firm for a period of 90 days after opening.  This includes material prices. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes.

All bidders shall be FDOT pre-qualified in Major Highway Construction and must show proof of pre-qualification prior to Notice of Award. All bidders must attend a mandatory “Pre- Bid Meeting” at 3:00 p.m. (CST) on Tuesday, October 18th, 2016 at the City of Panama City Beach, 110 South Arnold Road, Panama City Beach, Florida 32413.  Point of Contact will be Cliff L. All bidders shall comply with all applicable state and local laws concerning licensing, registration, and regulations of contractors doing business in Florida.  The City shall award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; provided however, the City reserves the right to award the contract to a bidder who is not the lowest responsive and responsible bidder if the City determines in its reasonable discretion that another bid offers the City a better value based upon the reliability, quality of service, or product of such other bidder.
