Land Development Code Information

Adopted 07/26/2012 and Updated thru 01/11/2024

Panama City Beach Land Development Code

The Use of any Parcel of land or any structure or any combination thereof, within the corporate limits of the City shall be in conformance with the requirements of the LDC.   

Zoning Standards

Land Development Code Standards for Land Uses, Building Heights and Setbacks:

LDC 2.01.00 Zoning Districts and Land Uses Allowed 
LDC 2.04.00 Density and Intensity Standards
LDC 4.02.00 Building Height and Setback Standards

All Development shall conform to the applicable standards, criteria, requirements and procedures of the LDC.  This includes a brief description of standards and regulations for development.  Please consult Chapter 7 of the Land Development Code for additional applicable regulations for development within Special Overlay Districts.

Panama City Beach Zoning Maps

Interactive Multilayer City Zoning Map

The interactive map will reflect the different zoning districts within the corporate area of the City.  The land uses allowed within these zones can be found in the Land Development Code, Chapter 2. 

Front Beach Overlay Map

This map reflects the four (4) overlay districts that are applicable along Front Beach Road, South Thomas Drive and Arnold Road south of Panama City Beach Parkway. 

Future Land Use Map

This map reflects the Future Land Use of the Panama City Beach Comprehensive Growth Development Plan a framework indicating the large-scale pattern of future land use in our City.
