The Youth Fishing Rodeo is a big deal for the young fisher-folk in Panama City Beach. It's where rookies dip their toes into the fishing world, and pros come back to flaunt their skills. This cool event brings families and buddies together, bonding over fishy adventures.
At Frank Brown Park Youth Fishing Pond, kids line up like eager beavers, faces lit up with excitement as they cast their lines into the shimmering water. Thanks to Fish Florida, Buffalo Rock, Visit Panama City Beach, and Beach Mosquito, the day is packed with fun, learning, and fishy stories. Oh, and the Optimist Club is dishing out hotdogs from 10 am to 11 am - yum!
Prizes are up for grabs for the biggest catch, the fish-catching champ, and even a little something for each fish nabbed, making everyone feel like a fishing superstar. More than just hooks and lines, this rodeo is about creating unforgettable moments and nurturing a love for nature in the next wave of outdoor enthusiasts. Dive in on October 26th from 9 am to 12 pm at the Youth Fishing Rodeo - see you there!
