At over 100 acres, Frank Brown Park is the largest park in Panama City Beach. Named for longtime educator Frank Brown, the park includes baseball and softball fields, batting cages, soccer fields, outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts, a tennis wall, t-ball field, a Miracle League field, several playgrounds, shuffleboard courts, concession stands, picnic areas, pavilions, a freshwater youth fishing pond, three dog parks, green spaces, a 20-acre festival site, and Gayle's Trails.

The Panama City Beach Aquatic Center is also located at Frank Brown Park. The Aquatic Center includes an outdoor Olympic size pool and a Kids Splash Pool.

The Frank Brown Park Community Center hosts special events, meetings, and a variety of classes for all ages. Indoor and outdoor rental spaces are available at Frank Brown Park and the PCB Aquatic Center. The facilities can accommodate events of all sizes and are perfect for children's birthday parties.

Before it was officially renamed in 1983, Frank Brown Park was known as Beach Memorial Park.

With only two baseball fields and a soccer field located where the pool currently is, this park was managed by only two maintenance workers. The Philip Griffitts Community Center was built in 1988 with an indoor gymnasium.

The two fields eventually became four in the mid-'90s creating the South Complex and with the addition of the North Complex's five new baseball fields in 1999, the park became a 9-field facility.

The park gained 20 acres in 2004 with the addition of the festival site. Part of the original design was for horse shows with an arena and plenty of space for stables, now this area is used for music festivals, trade shows, and recreational sports. At the same time, the park established three full-size soccer fields located north of the ballfields. The PCB Aquatic Center finished its Olympic size pool and facilities in 2006.

With the addition of the Miracle League field in 2009 the park started to see improvements all over. The Playground received an upgrade in 2017 and now hosts four separate play areas for all ages.

In 2022, the Aquatic Center purchased new kids' splash pool water features that can be enjoyed in the warm summer months.

As the community demands grow, so does the park, and big plans for the park coming soon. What will it look like in the next 40 years?
