Background Application Process

Step 1: APPLICATION PACKET Select the correct application from the following list and fill it out. 

After filling out the form, save and email the paperwork to Erin Conley (please do not submit pictures of the application). This crucial step must be finished and sent to Parks & Recreation via email or in person before proceeding.

Step 2: ONLINE PORTION Click on the Link to the online portion of the Background check. CLICK HERE

*Your online portion will not be process by Parks & Recreation staff until step one has been completed and received. 

Step 3: APPROAL PROCESS Approvals can take 5-7 business days, and the applicant will be contacted once they are approved through the Parks & Recreation Department. 

  • Please email Erin Conley a headshot with your first and last name in the Subject Line if you are new to coaching. All coaches are required to wear this badge on game day fields and during practice.

Approved Background checks through NCSI IS NOT THE FINAL APPROVAL. Parks and Recreation has their Final Approval based on department needs.

 

** Background Check Frequency: Athletic Volunteer Coaches and Officiating Background Checks are conducted semi-annually in the Fall and Spring. Fall background checks are good August 1 - December 31. Spring background checks are good January 1 - May 31. All Independent Contractor Background Checks are conducted annually at the start of your program for the current year and expire December 31.
