About the Bulk Waste Pilot Program
In Spring 2024, the City of PCB launched its Bulk Waste Pilot Program. Operated by the PCB Public Works Department, this program offers residents the opportunity to schedule a pick-up service for their large or bulky household items that need disposal. Currently, there is no charge for this service in accordance with the following stipulations.
How It Works
- Residents can visit the city’s website at: pcbfl.gov/seeclickfix to make their pick-up request. Alternatively, making the request is easy by downloading the City’s SeeClickFix app from the Google Play or Apple App Store.
- After logging on to SeeClickFix, residents can use the map to navigate to their location, before selecting the “Bulk Waste Pickup” category.
- After submitting the request, City staff will use the contact information given to follow up and schedule a pick-up date (please allow up to two days).
- Residents are limited to three pickup requests per year.
- For each request, only two items at a time are allowed to ensure the truck’s load does not become oversized.
- Generally, bulk waste pick-ups run weekly, but the schedule can vary.
Who is eligible to use the service?
- To make a request, you must be a resident of PCB.* Click here for a map if you are unsure if you are within the city limits. *Please note if you are putting in a SeeClickFix request for bulk garbage pickup and it diverts you to a Utility request, it is because the address you entered is outside the city limits.
- This service is not available to commercial contractors, commercial businesses, condos, or apartment complexes.
Acceptable Items for Pick-up
- Furniture (e.g., household furniture like old sofas, mattresses, tables, etc.,)
- Appliances (e.g., refrigerators, stoves, hot water tanks, etc.,)

- Roll and tape or tie carpet and/or carpet pad if possible.
- Tape shut all appliance doors.
- Remove freon from items such as refrigerators and air conditioning units by a certified freon technician to avoid injury or harm.
- Place items/debris near the curb no more than two days before the scheduled pickup date.
- Loose items or matter (such as fence panels) should be stacked or piled.
